Oslo, November 28, 2021:

Today, Celsia - provider of the world’s most accessible solution for determining a company’s sustainability score in accordance with the EU Taxonomy - announces it has raised its angel in an oversubscribed funding round. Celsia’s software solution is recognized as a leading EU Taxonomy reporting & aggregation solution delivered as SaaS.

The funding round is Celsia’s first, and will allow the company to accelerate its path towards becoming the world’s most used platform to assess companies' performance against the EU Taxonomy criteria. Among Celsia’s customers are the publicly listed manufacturing company Quantafuel and transportation system company Q-Free.

“Celsia is an outstanding team, covering all disciplines required to develop market-leading sustainability software. We’re impressed by their development speed and professionalism in their go-to-market strategy”, says Tor Bækkelund, CEO of RunwayFBU.

“Firda, RunwayFBU and StartupLab make up a top-tier constellation of investors that complement each other, and we’re extremely eager to begin working with them. Their strong track records and experienced teams will help us accelerate our commercialization”, says CEO Petter Reistad.

Celsia aims to direct capital towards more sustainable companies by making it simple and inexpensive to measure and track a company’s capital flows. As one of the few in the world, Celsia’s solution is based on and compliant with the EU Taxonomy. The EU Taxonomy is the European Union’s new sustainability framework that more than 11,000 companies in the bloc are required to implement by 2022.

Celsia was founded by Cathrine Dehli, Morten Hillbom and Petter Reistad.
