Today, Celsia - provider of the world’s most accessible solution for determining a company’s sustainability score in accordance with the EU Taxonomy - announces it has raised its pre-seed in an oversubscribed funding round. Celsia’s software solution is recognized as a leading EU Taxonomy reporting & aggregation solution delivered as SaaS.
The funding round is Celsia’s first, and will allow the company to accelerate its path towards becoming the world’s most used platform to assess companies' performance against the EU Taxonomy criteria. Among Celsia’s customers are the publicly listed manufacturing company Quantafuel and transportation system company Q-Free.

Founded in 2021, Celsia is developing a sustainability management-as-a-service solution. Celsia aims to direct capital towards more sustainable companies by making it simple and inexpensive to measure and track a company’s capital flows. As one of the few in the world, Celsia’s solution is based on and compliant with the EU Taxonomy. The EU Taxonomy is the European Union’s new sustainability framework that more than 11,000 companies in the bloc are required to implement by 2022.
Celsia was founded by Cathrine Dehli, Morten Hillbom and Petter Reistad. Chief Product Officer (CPO) Cathrine Dehli has 25 years of experience from working with sustainability, having worked with companies that include Cognite, IKEA and Nordic Choice Hotels. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Morten Hillbom has previously worked with Cognite and Cisco. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Petter Reistad has a background from Cognite and DNB.
